ENTERING AS A GROUP:
Entering as a group is cheaper and more fun. The bigger the group the cheaper it gets! You will need 4 or more people to enter as a group. Shine brighter together!!! Choose the number of Glow Runners you have in your group from the drop-down menu.

CHILD TICKETS:
Child tickets are for children aged 6 - 14yrs only. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Any misuse of child tickets will be not be tolerated and persons will be removed from the event.

EVENT DAY SCHEDULE:

5:15 pm - Car park and venue opens. Registration opens (Headbands and bib numbers to be collected at the event).

6:45 pm - Start party, warm-up, and DJ will get you Glowing!

7:00 pm - Start

WHAT DOES AN ENTRY INCLUDE?
- Glow in the Park Head Band and finishers medal
- A great night out exercising to music and lighting effects

COLLECT AT THE EVENT:
- Glow in the Park Head Band
- Event bib number. Your bib number is proof of entry to the event and must be displayed in a prominent position about your person in order to participate on the nightx4 safety pins
- At the finish... Glow in the Park Medal and lots of other goodies!
COURSE:

The course is 2 laps of a 2.5km circuit and is marked by flashing arrows and marshals. You will pass through our glow zones as you dance, jog, run or walk your way around the course. Don't forget its night time so the majority of the course will be dark, you must wear a head torch and look where you are going! The course is on paths, tracks, and some grass areas.

SPECTATORS:

The more the merrier! You will be able to enter the site from the main entrance. Do not go on to the course itself and please stay behind the crowd barrier. There is plenty of hot food and drink outlets in the start-finish area for your refreshment!

BY CAR

The Kent Event Centre at the Kent Showground is ideally suited for arrival by car. It is located on the A249 which is a busy dual carriageway. From the M20 Motorway. Exit the motorway at junction 7 and follow signs to Sittingbourne and Sheerness A249. The Kent Showground is clearly marked and is approximately 2 miles from the junction. From the M2 Motorway. Exit the motorway at junction 5, signposted Maidstone A249. The Kent Showground is approximately 5 miles from the junction. The postcode is ME14 3JF. Please note that it is best to follow the signs as you near the Showground rather than a sat nav.

PARKING

The on-site car park will be open from 5:15 pm.

Tickets can only be pre-purchased on our website. These tickets need to be printed and placed in your windscreen on the night.

By Rail – The nearest train station is Maidstone East. View the Timetable to the left or for more rail enquiries telephone: . The Channel Tunnel is within a 40 minute drive (35 miles). Ashford International is a 20 minute drive (20 miles).

By Air – Gatwick Airport is just 41 miles and a 45 minute drive away.

By Ferry – Dover is within a 45 minute drive and 38 miles away.

Working with over 12,500 people with a sight impairment in Kent and surrounding areas, we are one of the largest local sight loss charities in the UK. For over 100 years we have been working to prevent avoidable sight loss, deliver excellent support services and help people to live independently.

Only 4% of people who are registered sight impaired are completely blind, so we help people make the most of the sight they have. We understand that everyones needs are different, and we provide a comprehensive range of support services to help people maintain their day-to-day lives. This ranges from rehabilitation to equipment and social clubs depending on the individual needs of each person. We can help with mobility training and give advice on gadgets to make the simplest of tasks seem less difficult.

By taking part in this incredibly fun event and fundraising for us, you will be enabling us to continue and grow our much needed support throughout Kent.
